Saturday Alternative Cartoons: December 23, 2017

Orwell & Goode
Between now and the next time we meet, I plan to have a wonderful visit with family and friends. We have a lot to be grateful for in our family and this is an exciting time. May all of you, whatever you celebrate, bask in the warmth of the season with all that is good. I wish every one of you a very Merry Christmas full of peace and festivities.

There were so many Christmas cartoons that were about impeaching or disposing of Trump. The worst was a pair of feet on a mortuary trolley with a Christmas tree toe-tag with the name Trump on it. I just don’t understand that type of „humour“ at all.

This myth of Mary and Jesus being homeless at Christmas is intended to subtly (or not so much) open our doors to migrants. Here is the truth:
So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:1-7
